Kiteboards
Kiteboard is an exhilarating water sports board where riders utilize the pulling force and control of a kite to achieve high-speed gliding, jumping, and various trick maneuvers on the water surface.
Materials of Kiteboards
Woodcore
It’s the heart of our kiteboards and mainly made of paulownia of different densities selected from Asia and North America. We can also supply harder woods such as poplar or bamboo. Lighter woods such as Balsa is also an option.
Fibers
The flexibility and strength of the board are supported and powered by a large choice of multi-axis glass fibers with special reinforcements of premium materials such as carbon or basalt and not forgetting the latest new products in recycled and natural fibers.
Top Sheet
With advice from our professional graphics team, you will use the thinnest and most resistant top sheets for the best printing process and obtain an unrivaled result.
Resin
Today, we put on the market a wide choice of epoxy resins with different options of bio-sourced materials for greener projects.
The Process of Kiteboard Manufacturing
The right materials will not be effective and not nearly as efficient without combining them with our most advanced process. Playmaker supports several different ways to print or to show graphics on the top sheet, from UV DDP to screen printing or sublimation process to die-cutting. The molding is carried out on a press with aluminum tools at high temperature to guarantee the best mechanical properties for our fibers and resin. To complete the final aspect of TT Kiteboard, we can apply smooth matte or glossy UV varnish.
The Quality
What would the best material and process be without quality control? Following our supply chain, we implement a unique quality control process that closely monitors each stage of manufacturing in our factory and at our local suppliers.
=> Making TT kiteboards at Playmaker is a close collaboration with our suppliers and customers to build a long-term and beneficial partnership.
